Elizabeth Piper Board is a visual and verbal artist living and working in the Washington DC area. Her visual practice spans a wide variety of mediums - never wanting to be stuck in one form of expression. While photographic methods are common in her work; she regularly uses painting, collage, embroidery and video to express herself visually. Personal narrative is common in her work and she uses art to examine her own patterns of thinking, release anxiety and cope with discomfort. Her work has been shown at The Watergate Gallery, Neon Cat at The Lemon Collective, Olly Olly and the Arts Walk at Monroe Street Market as part of FotoWeekDC.
